Gigi Gardner
Raleigh Immigration Attorney
Gigi Gardner is the owner and founding attorney of Gardner Law, PLLC. She views her profession as a calling to serve others in need and advocate for those facing injustice. Fluent in Spanish, her passion is immigration. She represents clients in removal proceedings, immigration bond hearings, green card petitions, citizenship applications, and more. She also consults employers on I-9 compliance and E-Verify audits.
Gigi was born and raised in Clayton, just 15 miles southeast of Raleigh. She comes from a long line of farmers who have called North Carolina home since colonial times. Her father is a retired State Highway Patrolman, who served Johnston County for 30 years.
Gigi graduated from Clayton High School in 1998, and went on to receive her bachelor’s degree from UNC-Chapel Hill in 2002, majoring in Psychology and minoring in Spanish. During college, she studied abroad in Sevilla, Spain, which began her life-long love of traveling the world. After college, she taught English as a second language in Costa Rica and Mexico City, before returning home to attend law school.
In 2009, she earned her J.D. from Campbell University with the last graduating class from Buies Creek. There she served as president of the Campbell Law Innocence Project and content editor for the Campbell Law Observer. Her law school accolades include the Pro Bono Publico Award, the Book Award in Eighth Amendment Death Penalty Litigation, and the NC State Bar Pro Bono Service Award.
In her free time, Gigi enjoys spending time with her family and friends.
